Spring Sermon Series 2010

Morning Teaching

In January the sermons will be part of the preparation for The Servant Course in February, so their focus is upon the place and role of Spiritual gifts in equipping the Church to serve Jesus. From then until Lent we're continuing in Ephesians to consider our readiness to live transformed lives
Through Lent we're going to consider the temptations Jesus faced in pursuing God's plan and purpose. Initially we'll look at His time of preparation in the wilderness, but then move on to look at other instances where He faced alternative roads and yet kept steadfast on the course set by His Heavenly Father.
After Easter we will probably start a series based upon the Apostle's Creed

Evening Teaching

The pattern of evening services is quite disrupted in this season so our Evening Hour services will be following the set Lectionary Psalm
After Easter we begin a series from 1Corinthians on The Church in the World
Holy Communion Services focus upon healing.
Evening Worship is a more contemporary approach similar to that adopted by groups such as New Wine and the sermon will be spiritually provocative.
