Homegroup -

MAGOTs
(Middle Aged Group On Tuesdays) is more than just a homegroup,
it is a support group ranging in age from the early 20's to
the 60's. We meet every Tuesday (except on the first Tuesday
of the month) at 8.00pm and finish at about 10.15pm.
Our aims are to share the gospel with others, give prayer support,
deepen our relationship with the Lord and have a greater understanding
of the Bible. As one member said 'Bible Study' has become an
opportunity to "Read the manual and listen to the author".
Last
year we studied the 'Life Shapes' material and we are now studying
the book of Romans. What we learn we try and apply it to our
everyday life. Together we are trying to walk on water by trusting
in God when we step out of that boat.
We
feel we should be giving something back and as such have taken
"BESOM" as our charity to help out in the community.
We have helped out with the cleaning and painting of a home
of a couple unable to do so themselves, landscaped a garden
for a family and donated various items.
