Baptism Support Group - by David Gale

We enjoy meeting regularly on a Tuesday evening to study the Bible, pray together and socialise (when David allows it!) Part of the time each evening is spent praying for the families seeking baptism at Holy Trinity or St Saviours.

We are encouraged by the number of baptisms that take place, during the past year we have seen 10 baptisms, with 3 more in April. We seek as a group to find ways to maintain contact with families whose children have been baptised. Every quarter we send out a newsletter to keep families informed of services and events. We hold an annual Baptism Celebration service and last year we had a well attended BBQ for families who had had recent baptisms.

While supporting baptism families is our major focus, we are always pleased to welcome new members. Not everyone in the group has direct contact with baptism families but everyone is committed to supporting this ministry through prayer and encouragement.

It is good to see so many of these families coming regularly to 20:20 services, our thanks to the 20:20 team for providing a child friendly service.
