St Saviour's Church will once again be open for us to come together as the body of Christ in a time of personal and corporate prayer. It’s so important to get together as a parish to pray and listen to what God has to say to us.

There will be space to sit quietly, or time to confess, to intercede for others, or just to be. We’ll put out some things to guide your prayers, but you can ignore these or use them as you wish. Everyone prays in different ways, so feel free to move around the church or to stay in one place, whatever feels most comfortable for you and that enables you to listen most effectively to God’s voice. There will be an extended time of praying together out loud, in response to requests - from 8.30 - 9.30.

The church will be divided into four areas (see below) with information and activities in each.

10.45 - 11.45 Quiet reflection
11.45 - 12.00 Open prayer on any thoughts from all four areas

Areas

1. Young people's work - inc. Lighthouse, Outside Light, Children's and Families' Worker, Youthwork trainee

2. Outreach and community - Friday coffee morning, Lunch with Others, King's House coffee shop, Outside Light, etc

3. Leadership - Nick and Christine on sabbatical; Bonnie and Brian settling in to their new parish; wardens in Nick's absence; lay ministry etc

4. My place in God's kingdom - in particular in this parish, but also seeking his wider call on each of our lives. Where is he asking you to serve? Is he asking you to do something different? What is he asking of you?

There will be a prayer wall for you to write on. Please tell us what you think God has been saying to you about the issues we will be praying about - these are listed below. Don’t go without sharing your insights, however tentative or brief – it may be that God has chosen only you to speak to all of us about a particular thing! Isn’t that exciting?

The best times to come and go will be at the top of the hour, but please feel welcome to come any time and stay as long as you can – just come in quietly at other times as people will be praying and listening in silence.
